This was a really wild show. There’s stripping cowboys and a gun up the butt. You’ll notice the stand up routine by those 2 guys was so bad, that someone in the audience got into a fight with them before they could even finish.

MVTV Episode One

Vegas Griff the host is dead but not forgotten.

Originally it was supposed to be hosted by Cliff and Griff. The host Griff was there because his name rhymed with Cliff. Yes, that is how we made executive decisions. Cliff never showed and so we got stuck with Griff who became Vegas Griff. God rest his soul he drove me crazy. Never prepared for any interviews ever.

This show features classic footage on Abbie Hoffman. (Author of ‘Steal this book’and others)

Then we got America, Abbies son to come on. He insisted we put on his kickboxing girlfriend in order to synch the deal. He hated being always known for being Abbies kid, but I guess he may feel differently now. Abbie Hoffman is one of my greatest heroes. I worked with him in NYC in the Village on a series of radio broadcasts. This interview you see was actually done by Steve Herman and Dave Taub. Really out there guys, they had a show about religion called the ‘Voice of the Top Two’. They actually went around collecting sperm for the Contras or Sandanistas of Nicaragua. I am not sure who would benefit more from that. You can hear them talking to Abbie Hoffman about it on the clip. It’s kind of a Sacha Cohen Baron moment if you listen carefully.
